Page Two Lizard Lick The Vacation Bible School came to a close Sunday morning with its Commencement exercises at Heph zibah Church. The attendance dur ing the week was very good and the little folks did enjoy it. The program Sunday a.m. was excellent and we do thank all the teachers and all others who made it such a success. We invite all who will to come to church every Sunday morning and our training union on Sunday night. We are very glad that Mrs. Dona Todd is home from the hospital and is improving. Little Tony Alford has been very sick with infected glands in the side of his head. He too is improv ing. Mrs. Genie Hinnant shows very little improvement. Our best to all the sick for it is so bad to be shut in these unusually hot days. We wish for all a speedy recovery. Mr. Buchanan was piloting the plane and they were celebrating their second wed ding anniversary. Mrs. Buchanan was injured and hospitalized but no bones were broken as was first stated. Mr. Buchanan wasn’t hurt very much. The accident occurred due to difficulties in the switching of the gas from one tank to the other. We are glad that both are home and doing fine now and that all is as well as it is with them after such a bad crash. Mrs. Ervin Fuller and Iris of this section attended the picnic supper at Lake Mirl on Friday of last week from 6 to 9:30 p.m. This was for the intermediate class of the Tabernacle Church and was given by the teacners, Mrs. Allie Hocutt and Mrs. Thurman Driver.
