A. was held Monday light at 7:30 o'clock at the school. Mrs. Marlln Combs, president, pre sided. The Rev. M. C. Wyatt gave the ievotional, reading from the book )f Psalms. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer's report was given. Frank Plyler. Paul Swafford. Mex Arnold, Mrs. George Gibson ind Mrs. Marie Roper, members I }f the ways and means committee, > were asked to discuss and pre pare a list of the material necess ary to become an accredited school. Then, this committee was Eiskect to meet with the county maintenance committee at 7:30 Jjn. Thursday at the school to present this list. P.-T. A. members were urged , to attend the P.-T. A. study course J to be held March 4 at the Otto School. Delegates who plan to attend i are Mrs. Combs. Mrs. Paul Staf ford. Mrs. J. E. Myers. Mrs. Ver lon Poindexter. Mrs. Ed Bradley. Mrs. Oeorge Evans. Mrs. M. C. Wyatt, and Mrs. Robie Roper. A motion was made and passed for the hour of the meeting to be set up to 8 o'clock during the spring and summer months. Members were urged to listen to the Iotla School program to be given Friday afternoon, at 5:30 over the local radio station. Stu dents form each of the eight grades will participate. Room count was taken with a tie between Mrs. Marie Roper's first grade and Miss Veva How ard's fourth grade. ? ? ? Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Uner, of Route 4. have as their guest this week Mrs. Liner's sister, Mrs. Clifford Tipton, of Maryvilte, Twin. I*m?r Houston, student at Wake Forest College, spent the week-end at home. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Roper spent the week-end In Columbus, Ga , visiting their son, Capt. Lee Roy Roper, and family. Mitchell Houston, who is attend ing Clemson College, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hous ton, over the week end. Mrs. W. T. Pouts, who is re covering from the flu, is reported to be much improved. A welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rickman and daughter, Lin da, who have just moved to our community from Oak Orove.
