Auxiliary have been assigned Wed- 1 nesday. December 15, as the time lo work in the Christmas Gift Shop for veterans at the Swan nanoa Division, Oteen Veterans': Hospital. Ail members of the Auxiliary who have gifts to send or who can go to Oteen are asked to contact Mrs. Raymond Caldwell at GL 6 5806. Gifts are sent to the hospital by members of Legion Auxiliaries throughout the state and are wrapped and mailed by volunteer workers after the patients make j their selections. i * * * Use Mountaineer Want Ads Francis Cove 31ub Names New Officers New officers of the Francis: Cove Home Demonstration Club were elected at a dinner meeting .n th? home of Mrs. Joe Boone. Mrs. Henry Francis was elected president, succeeding Mrs. Boone, and other new officers were Mrs. Frank Christopher, 1st vice presi dent; Miss Eugenia Boone, 2nd vice president; Mrs. Fred Davis, secretary; Mrs. Willie Mae Palmer, treasurer; and Miss Evelyn Siske, i historian. Miss Boone and Miss Eugenia Boone received perfect attandance certificates. An attendance contest was planned and the following com mittee named to arrange a score card: Miss Bessie Sue Francis, Mrs. It. If. Francis, and Miss Boone. Caldwell, as sistant secretary-treasurer; and Mrs. Grady Davis, historian. Miss Mary Cornwell, home agent, gave a Chrstmas demonstra tion after which a covered dish luncheon was served. The afternoon was devoted to a party with an exchange of gifts and basket-making. White Oak Club Has Luncheon Meeting The White Oak Home Demon stration Club held an ail-day meeting Wednesday in the home of Mrs. Albert Bramlette. Mrs. Roue l.edtord presided.
