WHILE QUANTITIES LAST 25th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Bud Stephens Mr. and Mrs. Bud Stephens of Route 2. Raeford were honored on their 25th Wedding Anniversary at their home Sunday. Hosts for the reception were their children, Mrs. Jimmy Allen, Mrs. James Jackson. Mrs. Glen Farris. Tracy Stephens, and Kenneth Stephens. Guests were served wedding cake, punch, nuts, cookies, and mints from the dining table which was spread with a green cloth overlaid with lace. The table was centered with an arrangement of yellow summer flowers. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Doc Stephens of High Point, Mr. and Mrs. Delane Rowell of Latta, S.C.. and Mrs. Ronald Gillette of Yonkers, N.Y. Wishart - Clary Roberta Cox Clary and Robert John Wishart, both of Graham, were married Friday, July 30th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory J. Moss, in Woodleaf, N.C. Mrs. Moss is a sister of the groom. Dr. Herman Nicholson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Salisbury officiated at the eleven o'clock ceremony with only family members present. Mr. Wishart is an associate in the law firm of Allen, Allen, and Bateman in Burlington. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Cox of Raeford and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. George A. Wishart of Dover. New Hampshire. Mrs. Dons Cornwell and children of Greensboro spent several days last week with her mother Mrs. A.C. Keith. Mrs. W.T. Gibson and Mrs. Jerry Tucker spent the weekend at Ocean Drive. Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Williams and family recently had as their guests, her brother, Joseph A. White, Paul and Terry White of New Mexico. While here they all spent some time at Holden Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scarborough and son. Tom. have moved to Oxford. N.C. where he is connected with Burlington Industries. Personals Mr. and Mrs. Bill McPhaul and family spent last week a^ Holden Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Phillips and son spent last week at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Morgan and family vacationed at Cherry Grove last week. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Langdon and family vacationed at Lake Norman last week. Mrs. Bill Lamont visited Mr. and Mrs. Monty Lamont in Chapel Hill the first of the week. Mrs. Paul Burnett. Mrs. Bill Lamont and Mrs. Luke McNeill spent the day last Wednesday in Fuquay with Mrs. Neil Senter. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sturgeon have returned from a visit with relatives in Ohio. Among those who attended the wedding of Miss Peggy Swanson and Charles Crowder in Chatham. N.J. Saturday were his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Crowder. Bill Poole, David Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Hales. Mr. and Mrs. Wel don Bishop. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Williamson. Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Brock, Jr and family vacationed the past week at Holden Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Gore and children Hal Jr.. and Mahala have returned to Chipley. Fla. after spending two weeks visiting rela tives here and in Raleigh and Durham. Mr. and Mrs. Marty Jones and Gail Conoly spent Sunday at Lake Waccamaw with Mrs. Ruby Conoly and Mrs. Debby Woodell and daughter Pam who are vacationing there this week. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wiggins and daughter Jennifer and Mrs. Wiggins' mother. Mrs. Doris Floyd spent last week vacationing at Long Beach. Mrs. A.R. FitzSimons has returned after spending the past month with her sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Tovey in Tampa. Idaho. While there the Toveys and Mrs. FitzSimons took trips to "Sun Valley, the Oregon Coast, Seattle. Washington and Victoria. Canada. Mrs. Michael Dietzel of Raleigh joined her mother in Idaho for a week's stay with - her aunt and uncle. Mrs. Ed Manning returned Tuesda\ after joining Mr. Manning .it Carthage. Missouri for the weekend. Mr. Manning is employed there and his family will be moving in the future.
