Disposed, of Yesterday Only two days remain of th one week session of Craven County Superior Court which convened in tbia city last Monday morning or the trial of crimi nal cases. The following caaes were disposed of yesterday; State vs. George Mann, charged with forcible trespass, net guilty. State vs. Vergil Wynn, charged with carrying a concealed weapon, found guilty and sentenced to 6 months on the county road?. State vs. Enoch Ambrose, charged with removing property, not gnilry. State vs. Raynor Dennis, charged with bigamy, found guilty and senten ced to two years in jail to be assigned to roads. State vs. Charles Spencer, charged with house breaking, found guilty -and sentenced to 2 years in jail. mm CAS WHS HEARD BOA T RACES WILL BE HELD Tribute to W. W. Clark The members of the New Bar meet at at the court house at 5 o'clock yes terday afternoon to receive from the com mittee the resolutions in memory of W W Clark. The committee on resolutions was Judge O. H. Guion, L I. Moore, and P M. Pearsall, and the resolutions were hkndes to Judge Henry R. Bryan who presided Judge Guion read the re solutions and they were fttting'y and beautifully worded Addresses were made by W. E. Mciver, J. L. Abernethy W. E. Clarke, E M. Green and L. I Moore and upon the adoption of of reso lutions. Judge Bryan spoke. The ad dresses were all great and touching tributes of the great ability and good qualities of their departed brother. Upon motion, Judge Peebles who was present convened the circuit court and ordered the resolutions spread upon the minutes as part of the court records ink Superior Court Yesterday When Oscar Kilpatrick Was Placed on Trial' One of the most pathetic cases ever tried in this city was heard before Judge R. B. Peebles, who is presiding over a one week term of Craven County Su perior court, when Oscar Kilpatrick a 9-year-old colored boy was placed on trial for burglary, in the first degree. Kilpatrick is the boy who several Weeks ago broke into the residence of Mr. B. T, West at Dover in vftjjjfa secure some food, he haying eaten nothing in two days, and while in the house was fired upon by Mr. White sad so severely wounded that his left arm had to be amputated. On account of the boy's extreme youth the charge was finally changed to lar ceny and in. this he entered a plea of no lo contendre and the court ordered him bound out to some responsible par ty.
