Mr. Laughridge died Sunday night at 8 p. m. in Kings Mountain Con valescent Center where he had been a resident for several years and In declining health. He was former owner of Laughridge Tobacco and Candy Company of Gastonia and retired as a salesman from Klngham Meat Parking Company of Gastonia. A native of McDowell CcMinty, he was s(xi of the late Jason Collet and Letty Anne Fisher Laughridge. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Geatonia and of Masonic Lodge 860. Surviving are four sons, Harold Laughridge of Fort Myers, Fla., Lawrence Laughridge of Boise, Idaho, Durham Laughridge of Tampa, Fla., and George Laughridge of West Palm Beach, Fla., five daughters, Mrs. Cecil Chambless of Vero Beach, Fla., Mrs. Turner WUUams, Jr. of Raleigh, Mrs. C.
