Good with ham. .oOo- JELLO CABBAGE SALAD 1 pkg. lemon Jello 1 cup hot water % cup cold water cup finely shredded •bhage IJ cup finely shredded •rVDts 1 T minced onion 14 cup chopped celery H cup chopped sweet pickles H t salt 1 T vinegar Dissolve Jello in hot water. Add 14 cup cold water. Add salt and vinegar. Let stand until mixture begins to thicken. Mix all shredded vegetables. Place In refrigerator to congeal. Serve on lettuce with mayonnaise. -oOo- -oOo- FROZBN WALDOBF SALAD 1 can (9 oc.) crushed pineapple 2 eggs beaten H cup sugar 14 cup lemon Juice Pinch ssJt 14 cup nmyonnalse 314 cups unpeeled diced s^les 34 cup celery, chopped 14 cup nuts 14 cup miniature marshmallows 14 cup whipping cream Drain pineapple, reserve •yrup. Mix eggs, sugar. Juice, salt and syrup. Cook low stirring until thick, 30 min. Cool, fold In mayonnaise, fold In pineapple, celery, apples, nuts, marshmallows. Mix, add whipped cream. Pour over fruit mixture. Toes lightly. Put in six cups mold. Freese S-4 hours. Serves nine. -oOo- OVERNIGHT SALAD 1 can French style beans 1 can early June peas 1 c. vinegar 14 c. Ciisco oU 1 onion finely cut 1 c. celery (cut) 1 c. sugar 14 Up. aalt 1 small can plmlento, cut up Drain all Uqulda. Mix all IngredlenU well. Lieave In refrigerator overnight. Drain and serve on lettuce leaves. -oOo- SCANDANIVIAN SALAD 1 can (1 Ib.) French cut beana 1 mad. onion finely chopped 1 can (3 or 4 at.) plmlento 1 can (1 lb.) green peas* 1 atalk celery imeiy chopped Blend 1 cup sugar, 1 cup vinegar, 14 cup vegeUble oU, 1 Up. paprika for sweat ■our dressing.
