Silva, Route 2, Box 1145, a junior. Maple Springs Pool Is Open Maple Springs Pool is open for the summer season. Swimming and concession stand are also KM Students Earn Degrees Five Kings Mountain students were among 1,572 students receiving degrees at the 83rd commencment exercises at Ap- palachian State University recently. The degrees were awarded by ASU Chancellor John Thomas. The commencement address was given by U.S. Representative James T. Broyhill. Kings Mountain students receiving degrees were Mark Alan Cloninger of 105 Juniper Street, BSBA in Information Systems and a BSBA in accoun- ting; Chuck David Gordon of 1208 Northwoods Drive, BS in Psychology; James Austin Lybrand III of P.O. Dilling, Hipp Win In Bowling John Dilling’s and Gerald Hipp’s teams were winners in Mixed Bowling League action _ Tuesday night at the Dilling Heating Lanes. Dilling’s team won three of four games from Betty Hullender. Dilling led the winers with a 144 line and 357 set and Hullender led her tam with a 119 line and 338 set.
