We finally got to do it,” said Danny Love. He owns the restaurant with his parents Olin and Mary’ Love and brother Darrell Love. Mary Love said Tuesday afternoon that business has been “really good” in the dining room. Customers had asked the family for years to provide a dinin area. The new dining room seats 148. Customers still order their fish from the counter and carry it into the dinning area. The new addi- tional was built onto the side of the Business 74 loca- tion. The family anticipates hir- ing a few more employees because of the addition. Antiques that the senior Love couple have collected over the years decorate the entrance to the dining room. During a ribbon cutting ceremony, Mayor Rick Murphrey called the restau- rant a “cornerstone” of Kings Mountain. Several city officials attended as well. The Love's granddaugh- ter Ashley Love also works at the restaurant when she is not attending college.
