Fron the seven applicants for the job. Ranee Freeman, age S3, was number one man. Most people believe Free man received the job be cause he has the reputa tion of being steady and dependable and lives near the school. Since this js Ranco's first job r.s a jan:' tor, one would not have boon surprised’ to learn that he was confronted with many difficultiesj but he ad mits having had only onc- wondcring ' if he would "ever keep the keys to cll the different doors sepa rated". He hastened to ex plain that he readily over came this fear by intently studying a key every time he unlocked a door until he had that key fixed in his mind. He has two small keys that ho hasn’t found a use for, ATTITUDE VJhcn asked hov/ he liked the pay and hours, he an swered, "The pay is pretty good and the hours are 0. K." He begins work about 6:00 A. M. and finishes about 5:00 P. M, Ranee says he has found "no fault with the work", that he has "caught on pretty good", and the stu dents "act nice".
